1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using RMS Shop Assistant ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

2. Description of Service

RMS Shop Assistant is an AI-powered customer support chat widget for Shopify stores. The App provides automated responses to customer inquiries about products, shipping, returns, and store policies.

3. Account and Access

You must have a valid Shopify store to use the App
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account
You must provide accurate store information
You are responsible for all activity under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Attempt to manipulate AI responses for fraudulent purposes
Use the App to spread misinformation to customers
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the App's source code
Resell or redistribute the App without authorization
Use the App in violation of Shopify's Terms of Service

5. AI-Generated Content

The App uses artificial intelligence to generate customer responses. You acknowledge that:

AI responses are based on your store's data and may occasionally be inaccurate
You are responsible for reviewing and configuring the assistant appropriately
The App includes escalation features for complex queries
We continuously work to improve response accuracy but cannot guarantee perfection

6. Subscription and Billing

Free tier includes limited features and usage
Paid subscriptions are billed through Shopify's billing system
Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law
We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of data as described therein.

8. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content are owned by Wrenbys Ltd
Your store content remains your property
You grant us license to use your content solely to provide the service

9. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WRENBYS LTD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
Customer decisions based on AI-generated responses
Damages exceeding the fees paid for the App in the preceding 12 months

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wrenbys Ltd from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these terms.

13. Termination

You may uninstall the App at any time through your Shopify admin
We may terminate or suspend access for violations of these terms
Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our data retention policy

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of United Kingdom.
